It is with
heavy hearts the family of Edgar Stirling Whiteway, loving husband of
Janet Louise (MacDonald Jamieson) Whiteway announces his peaceful
passing which occurred on Monday, June 17 th at the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Dover, PE on November 27, 1935. He was the
son of the late George O. and Gertrude L. (Giddings)
Whiteway.
In addition of his wife Janet
of 26 years, Stirling is survived by his children Martin (Cathy)
Whiteway, Stratford, PE, Kelly (Jeff) Murdock, Oromocto, NB and Wendy
(Mike) McLaughlin, Oakville, ON and step children John (MJ) Jamieson,
Catherine (Kent) MacDonald, Steve (Isabelle) Jamieson, and Karen
(Larry) Victor all of PE. Stirling was a loving "Pa" to his
grandchildren, Justin (Danielle), Courtney (Mike) and Kate Murdock,
Matthew (Nicole) Gavin and Mikayla McLaughlin, David Jamieson, Alex
MacDonald, Olivia and Nicolas Jamieson, Tanisha (Dylan) MacIntyre,
Makayla (Denver), Jarrett and Keegan Victor. His great-grandchildren,
Christopher Atwin, Jack and Audrey Murdock, Adelyn Murdock, Clarke and
Rowan Jamieson. His sisters-in-law, Wendy (Ray) McQueen, Carol Power,
Phyllis Steele, Kaye Condon and Virginia MacDonald and brothers-in-law
John (Sharon) Stewart and Joseph (Brenda) MacDonald. Stirling was
predeceased by his first wife Wilma (Stewart) Whiteway and his
siblings, Harry Whiteway, Irene (Whiteway) MacDonald and brothers in
law Alvin MacDonald, John Power, Johnny Steele, Junior Condon
and Alan MacDonald.

Sturgeon.
Interment to take place in St.
Paul’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers
donations to the St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund would be greatly
appreciated.
